I had my pre-op appointment today which basically means that I did a lot of signing papers. I did have the opportunity to sit down with my doctor and ask a few questions about the surgery. To be honest, I didn't really have any questions. I told him that AFTER the surgery I would have a TON of questions.
My doctor asked why I didn't have anything to ask now. I shared with him that I still wasn't convinced that I had Endometreosis. And to my surprise, he said that he was 99.9% positive he would find Endometreosis when he performed the surgery.
I just sat there in amazement! This was the FIRST time in our journey to have a baby that someone told me they were sure this was the answer. Don't get me wrong, he didn't assure me that we would get pregnant after the surgery. But he did tell me that our first step to having a baby is to remove as much of the Endometreosis as possible.
I like the sound of this...ANSWERS!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I PRAY that this is the answer you've been looking for and that it brings you the baby you've longed for!!! (((HUGS)))
I pray that God was speaking through the doctor in order to give you answers.
Yes!!!! Awesome news. What a blessing to find that doctor.
that's great. you should have asked for input, because I would have had a bunch of questions for you to ask. but we'll just assume the doctor told you everything you need to know. I'm sure he did! hope the wait goes by quickly!! :)
I had the surgery when I was 20 due to severe menstural pain and other "girl issues". I've dealt with ovarian cysts since I was a teenager and the doctor assumed (after laproscopy and ultrasounds) that I also had endometriosis. My OB warned me that I would probably have a difficult time getting pregnant, with all of my "girl issues". We waited until I was 20 to due the surgery and remove the endometriosis, and I got married about 6 months later. I'm happy to report, we got pregnant with a "honeymoon baby" and 18 months later we were expecting another! I have faith that this will be YOUR story and that YOU will get pregnant soon after the surgery. I just know it in my heart! Praying for you in California!
Girl I have never heard of anyone so excited about a surgery ha! Less than a week to go. I hope the answers are abounding!!
That's so reassuring! Praying all goes well on the 10th!
Praying for you!!! Hope it goes really well!!!
I have a couple of friends that have gotten pregnant really quickly after YEARS of infertility once they've had laproscopic surgery to remove their endo! I'm praying that this is your fix & they'll clean out all that yucky endo so your baby can set up shop!

I'm praying for you sweet friend! I can't remember if I ever told you that I had this same surgery and we got pregnant with Bryson within 6 months :) I'm praying that this is the answer to your dreams of becoming parents!! Many HUGS!!!!!
I really hope that God was using this Dr to give you an answer! It's funny that that is what he said because that is what my RE told me before my surgery (and he was right - I had endo but I also had lots of cysts). Praying as always for you my friend!
I so hope this is it!!! I'm like you....answers are wonderful!! Even if it isn't what I want to hear, I would rather have an answer than deal with the unknown! I am praying for you. 5 more days!!
Lianna,
This all sounds so promising!! Praying for you and for the miracle of your dreams to follow soon after!!
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
