If you read my last post HERE, you know that I was diagnosed with endometreosis at the beginning of the week. I am ready to have the surgery NOW and was disappointed to find out that our doctor is 3-4 weeks behind. I called on Tuesday to schedule my appointment and got even more frustrated when I found out the first available appointment was the FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!! Because I am an assistant principal, this was NOT going to work. The next availability was the second week of school. Although this is NOT the ideal situation, I went ahead and scheduled the appointment.
To my surprise, I got a call from the doctor's office on Wednesday letting me know that they have an opening for August 10th...the week BEFORE teachers come back to school. I was so thrilled!!!!
I am SO ready to have this procedure because it takes me one more step closer to having our family.
IT'S A DATE!!!!

As God continues to write your story...
"Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God you will receive what he has promised."
Hebrews 10:35-36
God is Good!!! I will be praying for peace and no anxiety. I am a teacher and know how the beginning of school can be. I am so glad you got a sooner date!!
I am not the kind of Christian who runs around spouting praise the Lord at random but this is definitely a PTL moment. Yeah God.
God always provides! AMEN!!

As always, lifting your name up in prayers. Hoping your "date" turns out to be everything & more.
I think this is huge news! :)
I went through infertility treatments for 3 years (clomid, countless IUIs, 3 IVF cycles, 2 laps) before conceiving my first child. I was not given much hope other than signing up for the donor egg program and thinking about adoption. I never really got a "diagnosis." I signed up with an adoption agency.
Driving home one day from work, I had to pull over because of excruitiating pelvic pain. I went to the hospital, was admitted, and had surgery for an endometrioma (severe endometriosis inside my ovary). Once that was removed and another IVF, I immediately conceived my daughter...and I then conceived a surprise second child soon after the first was born.
Where I am going with this is that the endometriosis had wreaked havoc on my entire reproductive system. Somehow despite the exploratory laps and multiple pelvic u/s, the endo that shut down my ovaries was missed. THe endometrioma WAS there the entire three years of treatment but continued to grow...it was always looked at as a residual follicle despite the dark echogenic appearance. I was told I was perimenopausal at the age of 30 due to the abnormal estradiol levels.
I truly believed God placed me in the hospital and pointed this endometrioma out to new doctors so I could proceed in the right direction. I would still one day like to adopt. It is in my heart. I pray for you. Endometriosis can be a HUGE factor in the fertility picture and can be treated or reduced with the laser during the laparoscopy. The right diagnosis and thorough lasering led to my bundle after years of heartache and tears. I am praying this will be treated and you will have your bundle soon. :) Never give up hope, friend. Love you!
